The latest version of Ashampoo Burning Studio includes industry-standard disc encryption technology that ensures your sensitive data remains private. The program also makes it easy to backup mobile devices because it detects the devices and performs the backup automatically.

User Interface

Ashampoo Burning Studio provides a clean user interface that comes in two modes. The compact mode displays a minimalist interface that provides a small oval window where you drag and drop files you want to burn. As you drop files, it displays the number of files, with “Clear” and “Next” buttons appearing on the lower side. If you want to see the progress of the burning process, then click the button with an arrow on the right side of the display.

You can switch to the main menu by clicking the button on the upper right side of the program window. You can only use compact mode if you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4 installed.

You can use the program to burn data in a variety of ways. In addition to creating data discs in a flash, you can add files to existing discs or store large amounts of data on several discs. You can also create an autostart disc that makes Windows launch a definable file automatically.

Ashampoo Burning Studio adds useful functions that some disc authoring tools do not have. For example, you can use it to backup important files and restore them at the click of a button.

If you tried to copy audio CD directly to your computer, then you only ended up with unusable shortcuts. Ashampoo allows you to rip audio by converting them to WAV, WMA, OGG, FLAC or MP3 files.

The Settings menu lets you configure how you want Ashampoo to work. You can select the location where the program saves temporary files and change the appearance of your program. You can also mark or unmark check boxes to:

• Enable extended drive enumeration

• Eject disc after burning

• Automatically close tray before verifying

• Enable hardware acceleration

• Enable mainscreen animations

The Tools menu lets you analyze discs, get details like disc type, and write speeds. You can also get statistics about data and files burned since installation.
